February was a rough month. My back “went out,” which resulted in a lot of pain and the discovery my spine has some serious issues. Then it snowed. A lot. Snow is a challenge for someone, like me, who was already having trouble walking. But it sure is a lovely thing to photograph! Despite the harsh weather, spring is making its way to Seattle. Birds are returning, plants are slowly coming back to life, pushing their way out of the frozen ground. Sometimes it amazes me how much beauty and color can be found at this time of the year!
